The book was published at a time when distribution agreements were massively terminated by principles/suppliers and distributors were seeking continuation of business cooperation through interim injunctive relief. The writer advocated the opinion that continuation of business agreements upon termination is not even provided for in substantive law and, as a result, no such remedy should be available via interim measures. Said opinion was gradually adopted by case law and it is now dominant.
